A radio station I can stomach?

I hate most Denver radio stations, especially the ones that play music. Most of them play dull and formulaic music, taking their cues from some mysterious Clear Channel playlist in a secret vault at corporate headquarters.

This station, at 101.5 on the FM dial, is giving me hopes. I listened for a few minutes here are there this morning and afternoon and heard Jane’s Addiction, MGMT, Radiohead, Saul Williams and The Replacements. It gave me chills. This station is unique in Denver.

I hope this station lasts. Free-form music stations rarely do. Remember 92-X? It died 13 years ago and I still talk about it.
